COVID-19
Updated: Mar 14, 2020
Lough Mardal Lodge remains open in these unprecendented times and we wish to offer reassurance that all measures and safety precautions are being taken to protect our guests, and our business, from the spread of Covid-19 as per the recommendations by the government. This now includes Self Check-ins. Full details are at www.loughmardalglamping.ie/covid19.
Our yurts are all very well separated from each other in the great outdoors - no narrow corridors, lifts nor confined public spaces - providing social distancing as currently recommended. The Lodge is a communal building but at 400 sq m is large enough to ensure plenty of space to avoid close contact with others. (Numbers are being restricted to 10 on any given night.) Guests can also eat in the privacy of their yurt. The showers in the Lodge are wet rooms, fully contained so no shared changing rooms.
We ask all upcoming guests if they believe that they, or people that they have been in contact with, could have been exposed to COVID-19 in the last two weeks and if so to please contact us straight away.
