Procedures and Measures to safeguard against the spread of Covid19

Self-Check-ins:

Check-in is from 3pm. We will issue you with your Self Check-in details within 24hrs prior to arrival via text to the phone number given at time of booking so please watch out for it and let us know if it doesn’t arrive. Your yurt has its own assigned secure locker in the Lobby in which you will find your yurt key-fob and rechargeable lanterns. There is also a recharging point in your locker for mobile devices and lanterns. There is a map showing the location of all the yurts on the wall beside the lockers.

Kitchen: Due to Covid19 guests entering the kitchen must first use the hand sanitiser provided and it is recommended that you wear a face-mask. Please keep it to only 2 people/yurt occupants at a time and maintain 2metre distance from others not in your party. If you are waiting to use the kitchen please remain in the Reciprocal Room and be patient. Each yurt is provided with its own plates/cups/cutlery and drying up cloths which will be in your designated storage cupboard. Please wash, dry and return to locker at the end of each meal. Wet/dirty drying-up cloths can be left in the basket provided at the end of the day and fresh ones will be supplied in the morning. Pots, pans and kitchen utensils are for communal use. Please wash thoroughly and dry after use. Guests are welcome to bring their own if preferable. Condiments such as cooking oil, salt, pepper as well as tea and coffee have been removed so you will need to bring your own. Guests are welcome to eat in the privacy of their own yurt (but please remove all food/packaging waste on departure.) In the Guest Information document available here we also recommend several very good, local eating spots along with contact details for a local taxi driver.

For duration of stay: Please use the hand-sanitiser provided immediately on entering the yurt and Lodge and when moving from one room to another. We ask that you also wash hands frequently during your stay (there are 6 sinks in the Lodge; 3 in the kitchen, 1 in the shower room and 2 in the toilets). Please adhere to the one-way system via the corridor to loos and showers. Please do not hand-shake with other guests and at all times please respect social distancing and keep 2m apart from fellow guests. Coughing or sneezing should be done into a tissue and disposed of immediately or  into your arm/elbow.

If everyone respects the 2m distancing and is patient with each other then everyone can relax and enjoy themselves

You may wish to consider bringing your own:

Lighter (one is provided in the yurt and is disinfected in between guests)

Hot water bottle (no longer provided)

Kitchen condiments (oil, salt/pepper, etc - these have had to be temporarily removed)

Facemask for wearing in the kitchen

Books, cards & boardgames

A hair-dryer is provided for shared use in the Lodge, it is disinfected regularly throughout the day and we ask anyone who uses to wash hands before and after use in the adjacent sink. You are also welcome to bring your own.
