Lough Mardal Lodge features in Channel 4's travel series 'Extraordinary Escapes' in which Sandy Toksvig chooses a celebrity travel partner to stay with her at some of the UK & Ireland's 'extraordinary escapes'. In Series 3, Episode 5 which airs on 12th July at 9pm Sandy brings comedian and actress Doon Mackichan with her to Donegal and stays at Lough Mardal Lodge.
