Quite a few large birds are circling Lough Mardal the last few weeks as the lake shoreline has become a breeding ground for frogs - they must have a taste for frog's legs! This is the first time we've seen a Buzzard - or at least been able to identify it, we frequenly see big birds of prey but are never sure which ones they are... thank you wise people of Twitter for helping us with this identification!
