Over 300m of hedges laid over the last few weeks. Lovely to look at and they also provide a valuable wildlife corridor for birds, animals and pollinators. Always a good thing.

We are very humbled to stand among Great Britain & Ireland's most sustainable escapes.

It's never dull down by the lake when it comes to wildlife spotting. I t 's usually birds we're watching but at this time of the year the stars are the frogs who all come out of their soggy hideaways to mate...and mate they sure do. Our access track is currently an obstacle course down which you have to be very vigilant not to squish a frog.
