Inner Rewilding: Creative Writing and Nature Connection
In the fast-paced world we live in, it’s easy to lose touch with our natural rhythms—both the creative ebbs and flows that stir our inner world and the gentle rhythms of the earth itself. This Spring Equinox retreat is an invitation to reconnect with both: to rediscover the flow of our creativity and honor the necessary periods of rest and restoration.
Through writing, reflection, embodied practices and nature connection, we will explore how our personal healing is interwoven with the collective and ecological crises we face, fostering a deeper sense of interconnectedness with the world around us.

What to expect over the course of the weekend:
This retreat is about rewilding—returning to a deeper, more instinctual connection to ourselves, our creativity, and the natural world. It combines the practice of creative writing with immersive time in nature, giving you space to reflect, create, and reconnect with what makes you feel most alive and spend time with other like-minded people.

Creative Writing – Daily writing exercises inspired by the natural world and our inner landscapes, exploring themes of growth, cycles, resilience, and stillness. No experience necessary—just the willingness to express yourself authentically.
Nature Immersion – Walks, meditations, optional lake dip and private sauna, time spent in quiet contemplation within the natural surroundings, using nature as both a muse and a guide.
Rest and Renewal – A balance between moments of deep creative work and moments of rest—learning to trust the ebb as much as the flow, and understanding the wisdom that rest offers.
Movement practice – led by Wellbeing Warrior Blaithin Sweeney
Circle Sharing – Group circles for reflection, sharing, and witnessing each other’s process. This safe, supportive space fosters connection, growth, and encouragement.
Personal Growth – Opportunities to explore your personal journey through journaling, reflection, and creative expression, leading to deeper self-awareness and connection.
Connection – Get to know others in a small group setting
Nourishing food – All meals are included from dinner on Friday to breakfast on Sunday morning you will enjoy delicious locally prepared meals by award winning chef Peter Campbell to nourish your body.

Some of the themes we will explore:
-
The ebb and flow of the creative process
-
Reconnecting with the natural cycles of the Earth
-
Finding inspiration in solitude and stillness
-
Rewilding the inner landscape: embracing authenticity and vulnerability

Rest without guilt and know you’re enough. Through nourishing rest, affirming rituals, and the healing balm of shared silence, you will let go of guilt so you can embrace your enoughness—fully, tenderly, joyfully.

Together, in a circle of 20 women, you will:
-
Restore your nervous system through breath, movement, and guided deep rest
-
Unhook from digital overload with a guided tech detox and reconnection practices
-
Reclaim your inner rhythms through daily embodiment and sacred nature immersion
-
Rediscover soul connection through circle, sound, silence, in an ancient land
This is not a vacation. It is a sacred pause. A deep exhale in the wild lands of Ireland.
