Congratulations to Failte Ireland and Donegal Co Co on the Donegal Sustainable Tourism Seminar last Wednesday at Harvey's Point. It was a wonderful afternoon meeting many like-minded businesses who all have sustainability at the top of their agenda and are offering key sustainability initiatives such as slow tourism, quality local food, an array of walking and cycling trails and eco-friendly accommodation which are increasingly drawing global recognition and new visitors to the island. Perhaps partly why Lonely Planet featured Donegal in its Best in Travel 2024 Top Regions. We were honoured to be asked to sit on their discussion panel to talk through our sustainable journey along with our wonderful Donegal neighbours (and host) Harvey's Point, Breac House and the Iosas Centre.
