Frogs are Busy
It's never dull down by the lake when it comes to wildlife spotting. I t 's usually birds we're watching but at this time of the year the stars are the frogs who all come out of their soggy hideaways to mate...and mate they sure do. Our access track is currently an obstacle course down which you have to be very vigilant not to squish a frog. They criss-cross from the lake to the water logged ditches on the other side where massive jelly blobs of frogspawn accumulate all alon

The Northern Lights Dazzle
Last minute escapade down to the lake shoreline (best viewing spot) chasing the Northern Lights last night. Even swan & goosey swam over to enjoy the display.
