The Northern Lights Dazzle

Last minute escapades (in pyjamas under Dryrobes!) chasing the Northern Lights last night. On a still night the best spot is down by the lake where the reflections provide a mirror image doubling the wow factor and making for some lovely photos. As usual best seen through the lens of a smartphone. We sat inside the (unlit) sauna for a little while to escape the biting cold - staring up into the sky through the big picture window made us realise the sauna is a pretty good Northern Lights viewing station! Even the swan & goosey swam over to enjoy the display.




















The northern lights viewing experience sounded peaceful and unforgettable, especially the way the scenery was described with such detail. I remember taking a late night camping trip with friends during winter break, and even a simple clear sky felt calming after months of studying. Around that same time, I was browsing online class services because managing coursework while traveling became stressful.
